Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James was heading out for his regular workouts when he saw his son Bronny James doing some light practice outside of their house.
What surprised the four-time MVP is that Bronny was honing his craft in the driveway at around 5:00 in the morning, as memorialized on The King's Instagram story.
LeBron, who grew up without his father, couldn't help but share his emotions a few hours later, saying it made him cry to see his ‘boys' working out that early. That means that even his 12-year-old kid, Bryce Maximus James, was out there, too.
Knowing what it feels like to grow up without a father, James has dedicated his life to being a good parent to Bronny, Bryce, and his daughter, Zhuri. Not only is he making sure that both they are well-provided for, but he's also teaching them the importance of discipline, work ethic, and good behavior. Obviously, LeBron is happy to see that his hard work is paying off.
Bronny, a freshman at Los Angeles basketball powerhouse Sierra Canyon this fall, is expected to make it to the NBA someday, and will be faced with a ton of pressure when that time comes, as people will always compare his to his father, who is widely recognized as one of the two greatest players of all time. So it is important for him to learn at a young age that when his time to shine comes, his will have an idea as to how he should conduct himself.
And no matter what happens, LeBron will guide him – and Bryce and Zhuri, of course – every step of the way.
