Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James has been battling flu-like symptoms for the past few days. The team decided to hold the three-time champion out of Saturday's game against the Thunder due to the ailment, but that didn't stop him from joining Puerto Rican trap and reggaeton artist Bad Bunny onstage Sunday.

James joined Bad Bunny at Calibash inside the Staples Center. As a show of respect, the two stars came together for a quick embrace before the show went on. James remained onstage as the music began to play, dancing along and hyping up the crowd.

Critics questioned whether or not James was actually sick enough to be held out of the Lakers' game on Saturday. If he was indeed under the weather, it would seem that he is feeling better after joining Bad Bunny onstage. After all, dancing is believed to be therapeutic.

James and the Lakers have played well through the first half of this campaign, as their Western Conference-leading 32-7 overall record can attest. The King, who is now serving in his 17th season of NBA service, has played in 37 games, racking up averages of 25.4 points on 48.8 percent shooting from the field (35.1 percent from beyond the arc), a career-high 10.7 assists, 8.0 rebounds, and 1.3 steals in 34.9 minutes per outing.

The Lakers are scheduled to host the Cavs on Monday night. For James, it's a matchup against his hometown team. The Akron native is currently listed as day-to-day, but if his onstage appearance with Bad Bunny is an indicator of his status, there is a good chance he'll play.
