It's not easy to stop Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James when he wants to take the ball to the hoop. New Orleans Pelicans guard Jrue Holiday learned that the hard way on Tuesday.

In the third quarter of the Pelicans' game against the Lakers, James had a mismatch with the much smaller Holiday in the post. Even at 35 years old, James is still an athletic freak with the basketball. With that said, outweighing Holiday by nearly 50 pounds translated for an easy and emphatic bucket for the four-time MVP.

In his 17th NBA season and his second with the Lakers, James has still managed to be one of the league's premier players. In 53 games heading to Tuesday's clash, James is averaging 25.2 points, 7.7 rebounds and a league-high 10.7 assists per game.

LeBron James' stellar season and the addition of superstar big man Anthony Davis have propelled the Lakers to the top of the Western-Conference standings, primed for a deep playoff run.
