Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James prefers to keep his post-game conversation with Anthony Davis private, in the aftermath of his team's 124-114 triumph against the Miami Heat in Game 2 of the NBA Finals on Friday.

Asked by Rachel Nichols after the hard-fought win what he said to AD, LeBron refused to divulge any juicy details and had this curt two-word response.

Judging by how long James whispered in Davis' ear after the game, the 3-time NBA champion definitely shared some words of praise and encouragement to the NBA Finals neophyte.

The King also seemingly learned his lesson, opting to cover his face with a towel each time he says something personal to a teammate or an opponent. The media and even some fans have managed to discern these private conversations in the past just by lip-reading.

LeBron James and Anthony Davis' match made in heaven pairing, meanwhile, has certainly exceeded the lofty expectations they had prior to the beginning of the season. AD came over from that blockbuster trade with the New Orleans Pelicans and catapulted the Lakeshow back to contender status.

The dynamic duo once again manhandled the under-powered Heat line-up on Friday, combing for 65 of the Purple and Gold's 124 markers. LeBron finished with a near triple-double of 33 points, nine boards, and nine dimes, while Davis punished the Miami frontline with 32 points and 14 rebounds.

Despite now just being two wins away from the Larry O'Brien trophy, it's nice to see James and Davis continuing to stay locked-in versus the dangerous Heat team. Although they hold a massive advantage with several key Heat players out, the Lakers did not mess around and imposed their will right from the opening tip of Game 2.

The Lakers will look to take a commanding 3-0 lead in Game 3 slated on Sunday.
