Five games have come and gone for Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy. For the first time in his career, during that period of time, he is without a touchdown.

None coming by the way of ground or the air. An amazing thing to consider when you factor in how dynamic the back has been for his career up til this point. That being said, running backs age like a man who drinks daily while smoking tobacco.

Anyway, this is not lost on the Bills talent. In fact, LeSean McCoy is saying he needs to kick things up a notch, while acknowledging how odd this start to the season is for him.

“Never. Even little league,” he said, as written by ESPN. “It's something that I've kind of going through week and days, I want to get going. It's something that I really put my mindset on. Just getting going, getting back to playing my ball. Finding the end zone and finding first downs, big runs, making guys miss. Highlight plays.

“All that is good for me, but it's good for the team. It keeps the offense on the field, we score, make big plays. Just gotta get going, man.”

Despite rushing for only 169 yards over the last four games, McCoy is confident in himself mostly based off his previous body of work.

“Something that's been working for so long, stick with it,” McCoy said. “The coaches know that. Also, they have their own schemes that they want to do. Everybody puts a lot of time into it. Research, study, preparation.”

We will see this weekend if the electric Bills back can get back on track.
