The Detroit Lions and the Carolina Panthers square off on Sunday night for their Week 11 showdown at the Bank of America Stadium. Both of their quarterbacks are heading into the game with questionable tags.

Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford was listed as such due to a thumb injury. However, he reportedly participated in practice on Friday. Thus, it's likely that the 32-year old will give it a go and start for Detroit, per Adam Schefter of ESPN.

Meanwhile, Panthers quarterback Teddy Bridgewater is also questionable heading into Sunday. He suffered a knee injury in their loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last week. According to Adam Schefter, the 28-year old wants to play and will test out his knee prior to their home game against Detroit.

If all goes well, it seems like Bridgewater will give it a go.

It seems more definite that the Lions will have their starting quarterback. If Bridgewater doesn't get the green light from the Carolina medical staff, PJ Walker could make his first ever career start. It's also possible that Panthers coach Matt Rhule will go with Will Grier as his fill-in starter.

The Panthers will already be without running back Christian McCaffrey on Sunday. The former no. 8 overall pick in 2017 will miss his second straight game due to a shoulder injury, particularly an AC joint separation. McCaffrey does not have timetable for a return yet.

Meanwhile, the Lions will be without three offensive starters against Carolina. Running back D’Andre Swift (concussion), wide receiver Kenny Golladay (hip), and slot receiver Danny Amendola (hip) have all been ruled out for Sunday's match.
