In spite of rumors tagging the Orlando Magic as sellers as the trade deadline approaches, the team has reportedly no intention of putting All-Star big man Nikola Vucevic on the trading block.

This report comes via Marc Stein of the New York Post:

Vucevic has gained some interest from opposing teams, and there was some belief that Orlando would, at the very least, look into the possibility of parting ways with their prized big man. He's established himself as one of the top centers in the league, and the Magic would certainly bring in quite a haul in a potential trade. Nevertheless, Orlando appears to be adamant in keeping Vucevic with the squad as they now look to fend off any interest from teams around the NBA.

It is worth noting that Vucevic himself has already addressed the trade rumors, and the 30-year-old has since committed himself to the Magic. This recent report coincides with Vucevic's earlier statement, as both parties appear to be on the same page in terms of having the 6-foot-11 center as Orlando's cornerstone piece for the foreseeable future.

Then again, we've all heard this story too many times in the past. The trade deadline is one of the most eventful episodes of the NBA season, and despite these reassurances, a change of heart for either Vucevic or the Magic (or both) could still be forthcoming. Orlando has just sounded off on the trade rumors, but this likely won't discourage interested parties from doing their due diligence on Vuc.
