After Man United's horrible 2-0 defeat to Man City, manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer seems confident and chill about his future with the club.

Solskjaer has received countless criticism from fans, especially after the 5-0 defeat to Liverpool two weeks ago. Although the Red Devils managed to bounce back this week, winning against Tottenham, and sharing the spoils vs. Atalanta, this defeat to Man City surely doesn't help Solskjaer's case as the orchestrator of a massive club.

After the match, when asked if he is beginning to feel like he is on borrowed time, Solskjaer told Sky Sports: “No, I don't start to feel like that.”

“I have good communication all the time with the club that's very up-front and honest about the situation.”

“I'm sure when we come back the players will be fresh in their minds from internationals, and of course the demands on the players, on me are going to be high,” the Man United boss added.

“We've just got to get back to what we started to look like and what we were for a while. We've got the players to do that.

“We need to be on the front foot more, I can't look at myself and say this is the way I want Manchester United to play.”

Indeed, expectations were high on Man United after signing world-class players such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Jadon Sancho, and Raphael Varane. However, the club's form this season has been extremely inconsistent, relying on Ronaldo and his heroics while losing against England's top clubs. So, this begs the question, how will Man United act moving forward?
