After a historic collegiate career at Ohio State, rookie running back J.K. Dobbins is looking to translate the success to the pro ranks this time with the Baltimore Ravens. He has been nothing but impressive in the team's first two games of the season.

Veteran rusher Mark Ingram took notice of the Ravens rookie's abilities and is ready to take him under his wing in the coming years.

“Of course, man,” he said. “The young bull — he's a baller, man. So we're going to get him right, for sure.”

He also echoed the same sentiments for Baltimore's 21-year old rusher back in August when training camps were just starting.

“He's a great young back, man,” he said of Dobbins. “He had a great career at Ohio State. That's what this league is all about, especially running backs. Being able to pay the game forward. I had guys that paid the game forward to me. Just to be able to pass the game down — pass knowledge down — anything he wants to know. I'm there to help him. I'm there to support him.”

The Texas native balled out for Baltimore in his professional debut against the Cleveland Browns as he recorded 22 rushing yards on 7 touches in the game. He also joined the scoring party by contributing two scored touchdowns of his own in their 38-6 demolition job.

In the Ravens' Week 2 matchup against his hometown Houston Texans, Dobbins chipped in 13 rushing yards on a lone carry as the team cruised to a 33-16 victory.

The team's offense just got deeper with the addition of Dobbins, which should spell danger for the rest of the league. A heavyweight clash will test the loaded Ravens as they go up against the Kansas City Chiefs for Week 3 on Monday Night Football.
