The Mavs will have star Luka Doncic in the lineup on Tuesday when they finish off 2019 against the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Doncic took a hard fall in the Mavs’ game on Sunday against the Los Angeles Lakers and suffered a left wrist sprain and back contusion.

The Mavs are 21-11 on the season after losing to the Lakers. They are in fifth place in the Western Conference standings.

Luka Doncic is averaging 28.8 points, 9.5 rebounds and 9.0 assists per game this season for the Mavs. He’s shooting 47.4 percent from the field, 32.4 percent from beyond the arc and 81.3 percent from the free-throw line.

Luka has 18 double-doubles and nine triple-doubles in 28 games. The Mavs’ floor general is well on his way to making his first All-Star game this season.

Doncic is in for Dallas, but Tim Hardaway Jr. is out. He has a left hamstring strain after pulling his hammy against the Lakers. Hardaway has been a good shooter and volume scorer for the Mavs. The 27-year-old has appeared in 32 games and is averaging 13.7 points, 2.6 rebounds and 1.7 assists. Hardaway is shooting 41.9 percent overall, 38.2 percent from the 3-point line and 80.6 percent from the charity stripe.

The Thunder, led by Chris Paul and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, are 17-15 on the season. They have surprised a lot of people with their competitive play despite losing superstars Russell Westbrook and Paul George, so Dallas can’t look past OKC.
