Dennis Rodman has served as a comic relief in what has become a very tense situation between China and the NBA. According to the Hall of Famer, NBA commissioner Adam Silver should seriously give some thought into tapping him as a potential mediator between the two conflicting parties.

This is Rodman at his very best, and what makes this even more hilarious are all the innuendos scattered throughout the frame. Not only is the five-time NBA champion dawning a MAGA hat, but he also happens to be holding a photo of himself and U.S. President Donald Trump on his left hand. On his other hand, Rodman is proudly displaying a photo of himself seated beside North Korean Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.

Rodman's tone, the way he delivers his message, and his straight up poker face serves to add further confusion if he's trying to joke around about the situation, or if he's actually half serious about trying to help out the league make peace with the Chinese. If anything, this perplexing message is indeed typical Dennis Rodman.

All jokes aside, though, this problem between China and the NBA has definitely blown up in the past few days. What started with a controversial statement from Houston Rockets general manager Daryl Morey, has now snowballed into a full-blown spat between these two parties.

At this point, it's China who are the aggressors as they continue to prove how serious they are about cutting ties with the NBA by recently withdrawing their support for a number of league-sanctioned events. For their part, the NBA is trying to appease the situation as best they can, knowing fully well what type of economical impact this withdrawal of support will have on the league moving forward.
