The Detroit Pistons have been shopping plenty of players from their roster, including veteran forward Markieff Morris, who some believe could fetch a second-round pick in return, according to ESPN's Zach Lowe.

The Pistons have been largely unsuccessful in efforts to trade their star Andre Drummond, but teams have inquired about soon-to-be free agent Christian Wood and the sharpshooting Svi Mykhailiuk.

Given Wood's free agency, the Pistons might try to move him in hopes they don't lose him for nothing in the summer. Mykhailiuk, however, is another story.

It's unlikely that the Pistons move Mykhailiuk for future assets. The Pistons don't have that many young perimeter players, and Mykhailiuk, who is shooting 43% from deep this season on a healthy volume, has been a pleasant addition.

The Pistons still have a small team option on him for next season, allowing the team to control his future for the time being.

Morris has helped filling in for the injured Blake Griffin at his natural power forward position, but Detroit is certainly bound to kickstart a rebuild now that Drummond will either leave by trade or free agency.

Griffin is likely the next up after Drummond leaves, though trading his enormous contract could prove troublesome, especially with his injury track record.

If the Pistons trade Morris and Wood, the picks they get in return could be potentially bundled in a trade for Griffin later down the line, as the only way to unload him will be with a bevy of picks at hand.
