Minnesota Timberwolves center Karl-Anthony Towns has already been handed a two-game suspension earlier in the 2019-20 season following a full blown scuffle with Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid. Even with that in mind, Towns wasn't afraid to jaw in the face of San Antonio Spurs forward Rudy Gay during the second quarter of Wednesday's game.

Nothing came of the Gay-Towns posturing during the first half, but an entire second half remains. Towns has been integral to the success of Minnesota early in the year and is unquestionably the team's No. 1 option moving forward, but he'll need to be on the court if the team plans on making noise in the Western Conference.

These two teams will be getting familiar with one another, with their next meeting set for two weeks from Wednesday on Nov. 27 in San Antonio.
