James Harden of the Brooklyn Nets is the most recent player that has entered the league's health and safety protocols. The Nets will now only have eight players available against the Toronto Raptors on Tuesday night.

This is a tough blow for the Nets as Harden is their second-best player. They need him to be on the court for them to continue their success this season. Hopefully, he will be back within the next 10 days and the team can find a way to win games without him.

Harden isn't exactly playing great for the Nets this season, but he's still playing like a good player. He's averaging 20.8 points per game which would be good for most players in the league, but a player of Harden standards, he hasn't been as good as many expect him to be.

He should be able to return if he submits two negative tests within the next 10 days. The Nets currently sit in first place in the Eastern Conference with a 19-8 record. The Milwaukee Bucks and Chicago Bulls are only two games behind them, and they will both certainly look to move into first place.

This isn't too big of a concern for the Nets because they just want to stay healthy for the NBA Playoffs. COVID-19 is nothing to mess around with, but it should not keep any of their players sidelined for more than two weeks.
