Brooklyn Nets guard Kyrie Irving, clearly, is disappointed with the recent ruling that overturned Roe v. Wade.

While the controversial decision has been leaked last May, it still came as a huge shock after the Supreme Court made the decision. The ruling basically means that a woman's constitutional right to abortion is now gone.

Several states are expected to ban abortion or issue more restrictions, which may force millions of people to go to a different state in search of better reproductive health care.

Irving, for his part, didn't hold back and questioned the decision. The Nets star then went on to plead for authorities and everyone else to help protect women after the Roe v. Wade overturn ruling.

“Are you awake? You see everything that’s happening right? F*** what they think. It’s legendary to be different,” Irving wrote on Twitter. “Protect our Women by any means necessary.”

Of course Kyrie Irving is not alone in his sentiment. Aside from the Nets playmaker, several people have also decried the announcement, including US President Joe Biden.

On Twitter, the POTUS shared why Roe v. Wade was important to the American family, noting that it “protected a woman’s right to choose, her right to make intensely personal decisions with her doctor.” Furthermore, he noted that it gave women the “right to make the best decisions for your health, the right to use birth control, the right to marry the person you love.”

With that said, Biden promised to keep fighting for women's rights and help them get them accessible reproductive health care when they can.
