Time is running out on the Brooklyn Nets after falling 0-3 to the Boston Celtics in the first round of the NBA Playoffs. Kevin Durant doesn't look like himself while Kyrie Irving can't get a grasp either. It's drawn some criticism from past players, but legendary Los Angeles Lakers point guard Magic Johnson weighs in on the situation.

Magic Johnson ponders a thought that should be considered for a serious discussion. The Nets have not lived up to the hype since Durant and Irving joined forces in Brooklyn. For that reason, Johnson wonders, “if Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving are a good fit.”

It's a legitimate thought process, as Kevin Durant hasn't looked that great since donning a Nets uniform. Meanwhile, Kyrie Irving has played limited games, whether it was for personal reasons or because he was unvaccinated and couldn't play home games. Brooklyn's lineup hasn't meshed well together from the beginning and it might be time for the front office to go back to the drawing board.

Now, the franchise finds themselves facing elimination against the Boston Celtics. Brooklyn has the talent on the roster to be a championship contender but barely made the postseason as a seven seed. The Nets have some questions to answer in the offseason, as the Durant-Irving experiment has not panned out so far.

We'll see how it all plays out. There isn't much hope for the Nets right now as no team in NBA history has come back from a 0-3 deficit. Something major has to happen for Brooklyn to advance and based on their recent performances, it's not likely to happen.
