The Brooklyn Nets have not had a lot of success this season as they only have 19 wins to show so far after 52 games. However, on Wednesday, they scored a big one as they defeated the Philadelphia 76ers. 116-108. That allowed them to have the bragging rights on the night, not just against their opponents, but also on Philadelphia’s NFL team in the Eagles.

After seeing the Eagles' in-game tweet, the Nets found the opportunity to fire back against them when they already sealed the victory. They replied to it with a savage response, letting them know that all they heard was the loss they handed the Sixers.

Spencer Dinwiddie had a very strong game for the Nets, as he scored 27 points, to go along with two rebounds and four assists, while D'Angelo Russell played his best game yet since returning from injury by recording 22 points, five rebounds, and three assists, The team also knocked down 50.6 percent of their shots from the field, leading to their surprise victory.

The 76ers, on the other hand, had four of their five starters scoring in double figures led by Joel Embiid's 29 points and 14 rebounds. However, they did not receive a lot of support from their bench as only four of them scored and none with more than seven points.

For now, the Nets have the last laugh, but it can be expected that the Sixers will play harder next time they meet, not only to improve their record but also to potentially avenge the Eagles from the shot they took from the Nets' social media team.
