Ben Simmons might be the big haul for the Brooklyn Nets during the trade deadline, but Seth Curry isn't a slouch. The former Sixers guard is one of the best shooters in the league, which makes it surprising that he was included so readily in the James Harden trade. It left more than a few fans confused.

The Nets aren't going to be complaining about that, though. Seth Curry has been huge for them in terms of spacing the floor, and that was apparent in their game against Doc Rivers and the Sixers on Thursday night. Against his former team, Seth went off for 24 points on insane shooting, including this savage stare down against his former team. (via Italo's Media)

Stephen Curry may get all the headlines, but Seth is undeniably close to his brother in terms of shooting. He lacks the shot-creation and deep range that Steph has, but the guard's accuracy is similar to his brother. On a Nets team light with shooting around their stars, Seth's value becomes even higher. His ability to run simple pick-and-rolls is also underrated.

With the imminent return of Simmons to the roster, the Nets are looking like a contender again. If Curry can continue to shoot the lights out and be a capable ball-handler in Kyrie Irving's stead, they have potential to make a run at the NBA Finals. The sky's the limit for this team, and they will be able to reach them… as long as everyone stays healthy, that is.
