The Miami Dolphins just selected Alabama wide receiver Jaylen Waddle as the sixth overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. We're not too sure he was too thrilled about it, though.

As soon as he heard his name called by the Dolphins, Waddle nonchalantly stood up and literally left his family hanging as he made his way to the stage (h/t ClutchPoints on Twitter):

That's one of the best draft reactions we've seen in a while. Cool as a cucumber is the description that first comes to mind here. Waddle made it look like he was totally expecting his name to be called by the Dolphins with the sixth pick. He did not look surprised at all as he hilariously snubbed his entire family to head to the stage. It's either he did an excellent job in containing his emotions, or he wasn't too happy about being Miami's pick.

Whatever the case may be, Waddle didn't even give his family the time of day. Not a single handshake was exchanged. Not even a nod of acknowledgment. This is simply epic.

What cannot be denied is that the Dolphins snagged quite a talent in Waddle. He appears to have a bright future ahead of him in the NFL and Miami is hoping for exactly that.
