In the NFC Championship Game, the referees blew a call that should've been reversed. However, the NFL doesn't have a policy that reviews no-calls. Pass interference can't be reviewed every single possession.

Much like how Major League Baseball doesn't have replay for strikes and balls, the league knows that P.I. is an imperfect penalty and its lack thereof is exhaustingly so as well.

This miscall had led one New Orleans attorney to sue the league. He says his goal is to have a judge compel Roger Goodell and the NFL to call the Los Angeles Rams back to the city to play final minutes again, per Darren Rovell of the Action Network.

People are upset, and not just those in New Orleans. How can the NFL deal with this prevalent problem of miscalls in big playoff moments?

Denver Broncos head front office executive John Elway is very skeptical towards a rule change in this area. He doesn't believe that there is enough time in a single game to review every single penalty.

Elway told Lindsay Jones of the Athletic:

“You can’t replay every pass interference. It won't work.”

Elway is a member of the NFL competition committee which will be looking at the rules this offseason. Likely, the NFL will repeat history and make a rule that slightly affects a midseason game. However, if miscalls keep occurring, the league will have a problem on their hands. It's not just about pleasing their fans but making sure football games are called fairly and with respect.
