Former NFL wide receiver Cris Collinsworth currently serves as a broadcaster for NBC's Sunday Night Football. Apparently, the contestants on a recent episode of the iconic television program “Jeopardy!” had no clue about it when asked by legendary host Alex Trebek.

Collinsworth himself caught wind of his recent “Jeopardy!” moment and the 61-year-old took to Twitter to share his reaction to the the NFL connected moment:

The episode, which aired Thursday with no other NFL tomfoolery going on, was the second-to-the-last episode of the long-standing television gameshow following the passing of Alex Trebek in November. The “Jeopardy!” mainstay died at the age of 80 from pancreatic cancer.

Here's a look at the exact moment the contestants were stumped by the question pertaining to Chris Collinsworth, as well as a lasting moment from Trebek and his iconic voice:

Jeopardy! fan or not, you've likely come across Alex Trebek at one point or another. He's been around for ages, hosting one of the most popular and well-established programs in U.S. television. His passing was an undeniably great loss for the industry.

For his part, the NFL broadcaster himself appears to be a fan. It's not every day that you get featured in a world-renowned program such as “Jeopardy!”, so Collinsworth made it a point to basque at the moment. Then again he is an announcer for arguably the most popular sport in the country on one of the most far-reaching networks on television, so there's also that.

Chris Collinsworth and the rest of the Sunday Night Football crew will have their hands full on Sunday when they cover the highly-anticipated Wild Card matchup between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Cleveland Browns.
