The Marvel Cinematic Universe has already seen its fair share of teams in its roughly 16-year history between the Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy, and the Eternals, among others. It seems Marvel Studios may be looking to add two more teams to the cinematic universe according to a new report from a notable and alleged insider.

Marvel Studios is believed to be gearing up to begin production on a Young Avengers project and a Midnight Suns project in the near future according to alleged insider Daniel Richtman, or Daniel RPK on social media, via ComicBookMovie. Richtman reported Young Avengers would begin shooting sometime in early 2025 while Midnight Suns would try to begin its production almost immediately after Blade's production is completed.

Kamala Khan, MCU, Marvel

No potential cast members or characters were listed for Midnight Suns while Hailee Steinfeld was the only name attached to Young Avengers in the report.

Young Avengers…Assemble

The introduction of the Young Avengers is something longtime MCU fans have speculated online about for years, especially with the introduction of characters such as Kate Bishop and Kamala Khan. This speculation was seemingly proven right in The Marvels' post-credit scene where Kamala Khan goes to meet with Kate Bishop in a manner humorously reminiscent of how Nick Fury first told Tony Stark about the Avengers Initiative back in 2008. It also teased Cassie Lang's inclusion, who has gotten her own version of the Ant-Man suit in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.

There are plenty of other characters who have been introduced in the MCU that could be featured in a Young Avengers project, as well.

America Chavez and Ironheart are two of the more prominent options available after their introductions in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, respectively. WandaVision added three more possible members between Wiccan, Speedy, and the reborn Vision as options. Kid Loki and Eli Bradley are also available to add to the team, with Loki being recruited thanks to America's multiverse-based powers while Eli undergoes either super soldier enhancement or is also revealed to be a mutant in order to gain his powers.

Clock Strikes Midnight

As for the Midnight Suns, several members have already been introduced but there have been no outright teases of the team forming.

The supernatural-based team includes names like Doctor Strange, Clea, Moon Knight, Man-Thing, Werewolf by Night, Elsa Bloodstone, and Blade have already been introduced to the MCU, with Strange being the most prominent. However, fans have speculated that Clea's appearance in the mid-credits scene of Multiverse of Madness may have been the first tease of the Midnight Suns in the MCU.

Other notable members of the team include Ghost Rider, who fans have long speculated about where he would stand in the MCU. Ryan Gosling has also repeatedly shared his desire to portray Marvel's spirit of vengeance, and given Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige's own desire to work with Gosling, that could become a reality sooner or later.
