Free agent safety Tre Boston said back in April he wasn't getting any offers he thought were fair and now with June quickly approaching not much has changed.

Boston made an appearance SiriusXM NFL Radio talking about how he believes he deserves a contract like Lamarcus Joyner and Adrian Amos received this offseason and so far he hasn't found that offer.

“I know I’m worth every dollar those guys are getting paid,” Boston said. “The stats say it, you can’t say it’s not, but, for me, it’s about being at peace with where I’m at. Even though the stats say I might be there, if they’re not paying me that then I will wait until it comes a time where I need to sign and they feel comfortable that I’m worth that.”

Boston said he believes will eventually come around, but each of the last two years he has gone through the same thing and ended up with only a one year deal. Last year he played with the Arizona Cardinals on a contract that paid him $1.5 million. He played in 14 games starting 13 of them and finished with three interceptions and 79 tackles.

Boston is only 26 years old, and it makes sense why he would want to hold out for a long-term deal to get some stability, but it seems like this could be another year where he has to sign a one year deal reluctantly. If he can do enough this upcoming season, maybe that will be enough to earn a long term deal.
