Wide receiver Josh Gordon has had plenty of issues during his time in the NFL. Currently, he is suspended from the league and awaiting word on his application for reinstatement.

However, that does not mean that the free agent has not had some incredible moments. He was one of the fastest rising stars in the NFL at one point when he was with the Cleveland Browns.

Gordon looked like he might be making a comeback with the New England Patriots during the 2018 season. That was when he was handed another suspension. Gordon did not finish the season with the team. However, he did contribute during the regular season.

Due to that, when the Patriots won the Super Bowl that season and handed out rings, Gordon received one. But now, it looks like he may not have use for it any longer.

According to Michael David Smith of Pro Football Talk, Gordon has put his Super Bowl LIII ring up for auction.

The wide receiver put the ring up for auction on a Heritage Auctions website.

According to the website, the ring is not yet open for bidding, as it has not been described or vetted yet. The auction house has named the estimated value of just north of $100,000.

Gordon could be finding himself in possession of a nice chunk of cash soon enough if the bids go as high as the auctioneers estimate. That money could help him out if his reinstatement is not granted and his NFL career is indeed over.
