LeSean McCoy finally won a Super Bowl ring with the Kansas City Chiefs last season, so now he can play how he wants with an NFL team that perfectly suits him.

In a recent interview with SiriusXM NFL Radio, McCoy revealed that he's close to signing with a team after a lengthy period of considering his options. However, he's not rushing the process.

“I have a couple teams that I'm looking at,” LeSean McCoy said in the interview, via Grant Gordon of NFL.com. “I'm just waiting for the right moment. This stuff is tricky right now, because there's no visits. There's no real activities with the teams as much as it used to be. The thing I can control is just making the right choice, going to an offense that fits. I want to go to a team that's a winning franchise that have all the right pieces that's waiting for me. The teams I'm looking at right now are those teams. I look forward to probably after the draft or right before the draft, signing on with a team.”

McCoy had a decent season with the Chiefs. While only starting nine of the 13 games he played in, he finished the year with 465 rushing yards and four rushing touchdowns. He was also a viable target with 181 receiving yards and one receiving TD.

His Pro Bowl days may be long behind him, but it's clear that he still has a lot to offer NFL teams who would be willing to take the risk. The team that will sign him will get a quality running back who can contribute on the field and in the locker room.
