Week 11 will display an inter-conference matchup between the Baltimore Ravens and the Chicago Bears. It's time to continue our NFL odds series with a Ravens-Bears Week 11 prediction and pick.

The Baltimore Ravens are coming off their worst loss of the season last Thursday night against the Miami Dolphins. The Dolphins' defense blitzed Lamar Jackson on almost every play and there wasn't anything the Ravens could do about it. The first TD didn't come until around four minutes left in the game for the Ravens. Baltimore will look to bounce back as they prepare for another tough defense.

The Chicago Bears are coming off of a bye week and the week prior a 29-27 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers on Monday night. This season is definitely not how they wanted it to start, as they are 3-6 heading into Week 11. Justin Fields is slowly finding his mark this year but hasn't been successful for the most part. He has four touchdown passes but eight interceptions on the year. The Bears will have a difficult matchup on Sunday.

Why The Ravens Could Cover The Spread

The Ravens need this game to get them back on track. Week 10 did not go well for them in just about every category. If the Ravens want to cover this spread they will need to open up the passing game. We all know how dominant they are with the run, but the Dolphins shut that down very fast. They executed a great game plan to stop Lamar Jackson from doing anything really. Jackson is going to need to hit his targets and the offensive line is going to need to give him enough time to make the throws.

The Ravens defense is playing fine because they haven't given up many points per game. Baltimore did allow 41 against the Bengals in Week 8 but that was the season-high. Despite all the injuries this team is dealing with, the Ravens are one of the better teams in the AFC this year and should be in playoff contention. If Baltimore can shut down Justin Fields as many teams have, then they should have no problem covering this spread. The Ravens have now had plenty of time to move on from their last loss.

Why The Bears Could Cover The Spread

This isn't going to be an easy one to cover for the Bears. Justin Fields and the Bears' defense will need to step up dramatically. Every Chicago defender should be watching the film of the Ravens' last game. Obviously, every NFL athlete watches film, but this is one of those occasions where you can take more away than a typical game. The Dolphins' defense executed a brilliant game plan that shut down the Ravens. If Chicago can match that, then they will have a great chance of covering. Not only that, but the Ravens would be in a deep hole that they might not be able to climb out of.

Offensively, the passing game will need to wake up. Fields is struggling to consistently hit his targets and the Bears just aren't scoring enough points. Their 16.7 points per game ranks near the bottom of the NFL. That needs to change if the Bears want to cover any spread or win any game they play in. Fields has the talent, he just isn't being put in a position to be successful. Fields will need to step up and control the time of possession. The less Lamar Jackson is on the field the better for Chicago.

Final Ravens-Bears Prediction & Pick

The Ravens are going to bounce back from their upsetting loss and cover against the Bears. All it will take is a one-touchdown lead and I assume it will get done. The Bears are on a four-game losing streak and I don't see that ending in Week 11. This win should get the Ravens back on track to compete for a Super Bowl this season.

Final Ravens-Bears Prediction & Pick: Ravens -6 (-110)
