The season is over for the Denver Nuggets after the team was eliminated by the Golden State Warriors. Now, the front office has some decisions to make regarding the roster. It's clear this team must find a way to improve, but more importantly, Nikola Jokic is looking for a massive payday.

According to Harrison Wind, it doesn't sound like the Nuggets plan to let Nikola Jokic leave Denver. Re-signing the superstar center to a long-term deal is the top priority for this organization, as he gives the team the best chance to succeed. So, the fanbase should look forward to having Jokic on the team for as long as possible.

This is an easy decision for the front office. Letting a player like Nikola Jokic walk in free agency would likely go down as the worst decision in franchise history. Luckily the Nuggets understand the situation and are openly stating they are interested in re-signing their superstar center. Fans can be at ease, as it is extremely likely Jokic remains in Denver.

The rest of the roster might need some tweaking. Jamal Murray should return next season. Hopefully, the stud point guard comes back 100 percent healthy and provides stability in the backcourt. That is the best-case scenario for the Nuggets, especially since Michael Porter should continue developing his game.

If it works out the way Denver is hoping for, they'll have a three-headed monster within the starting lineup. For that reason, it is a must for the Nuggets to extend Nikola Jokic to a long-term deal.
