Have you ever wondered how Denver Nuggets big man Nikola Jokic used to look like when he was just a young unicorn? Well, today is your lucky day, as below is a photo of a 14-year-old Jokic attached to his passport, via Imgur.

As seen on the print of the passport, Jokic’s photo was apparently taken way back in 2009, three years before he turned pro in 2012 when he signed a contract with the Belgrade-based team, Mega Vizura. This photo made rounds on the internet shortly after Nikola Jokic became the fastest player to record a triple-double in NBA history last Thursday during a 134-123 road win over the Milwaukee Bucks.

In that game, the 22-year-old Jokic finished with an insane stat line of 30 points, 15 rebounds, and 17 assists. All it took for Jokic to come up with a triple-double was a time of 14:33, shorter than the time people spent in picking up their jaws off the floor after witnessing Jokic enter his name into the record books.

Jokic also went 3-of-3 from behind the arc, and added two blocks and a steal just to make sure that he blows everyone’s minds away.

Going back to the photo, there were barely any traces of future NBA stardom that could be detected in the young Jokic’s blank stare. If anything, the only greatness we could tell Jokic will have based on this image is at a buffet, as he clearly looked like a kid who had a free-pass in his family’s kitchen.

Seriously, though, Jokic turned out to be a very fine basketball player, and that all NBA fans should be grateful that that young Serbian kid became who he is today – a dominant basketball player on pace to be one of the all-time greats in the NBA.
