Denver Nuggets star Nikola Jokic had a dominant performance in Game 3 of their Western Conference semifinals matchup against the Portland Trail Blazers, finishing with a triple-double of 33 points, 18 rebounds and 14 assists. He also played an astounding 65 minutes in the game that went to four overtime periods.

When asked about his condition, the 24 year-old Serbian had a candid response, per Ben Golliver of Washington Post.

“They were talking about I'm not in shape. I'm in really good shape. I don't know what they're talking about. Even when I came here [from Serbia] I was a little bit chubby. There's no difference even now. It's a basketball game. I'm feeling good.”

Although Nikola Jokic's impressive stat line was put to waste — as the Blazers escaped with a 140-137 win — he was still one of the main reasons why Denver was able to hang with Portland throughout the game.

Also, it is the second time that Jokic has scored at least 30 points in the series. He's been really impressive in these playoffs, and he's not showing any indications of slowing down, even after that grueling 68-minute game on Friday night.

The Nuggets are in a must-win situation, as a defeat in Game 4 would push them to the brink of elimination. The Blazers have enough firepower to go toe-to-toe with them, and they are definitely strong at close-out games.

Should Denver win, they will regain homecourt advantage and will have the momentum heading into Game 5 — which will once again be played in Denver.
