Denver Nuggets star Nikola Jokic could potentially win the NBA regular-season MVP award for the second year in a row. After earning the title in 2021, Jokic is head-to-head with Philadelphia 76ers' big man Joel Embiid for the 2022 title.

Winning the title two years in a row would be a remarkable accomplishment. However, Jokic isn't too worried about it.

Nuggets reporter Mike Singer tweeted Jokic's nonchalant attitude towards the NBA superlative.

Not only does Jokic seem uninterested in the 2022 honor, he doesn't even know where his 2021 trophy is. And, this isn't the first time the center seemed unphased by his dominating gameplay.

Meanwhile, Sixers star Joel Embiid is hungry for the title. The center led his team to their fifth-straight playoff run, securing the fourth seed in the Eastern Conference. He earned the title of 2021-2022 Scoring Champion, averaging 30.6 points, 4.2 assists, and 11.7 rebounds.

Although he may not care as much as Embiid, Jokic has just as good a chance, if not better, at this year's title. The Nuggets center averaged 27.1 points, 7.9 assists, and 13.8 rebounds. He also led the league with 19 triple-doubles this season. The only player somewhat close to this feat was Dejounte Murray of the San Antonio Spurs.

Both the Nuggets and the Sixers are contenders in the 2022 NBA Playoffs, led by their respective MVP candidates. Denver takes on the Golden State Warriors in the first round in the West, and Philadelphia will face off against the Toronto Raptors in the East.
