The Denver Nuggets have won three of his last four games and climbed back into the playoff chase. They are a game over .500 at 15-14 and in 2nd place in the Northwest division, thanks to Nikola Jokic dominating once again.

Nuggets guard Austin Rivers has not been very busy this season. He is averaging just over four points per game in 17 minutes. That has left him with plenty of time to share some hot takes on social media. Rivers took to Instagram Live to share some his thoughts on a wide range of topics.

Rivers put Golden State Warriors fans on blast for wanting Andrew Wiggins traded last year.

“Golden State looks very solid right now. I hate to see it. I don't like it one bit. I'm tired of that fu$%ing team… they got a good mix of young talent, good vets… A lot of you Warriors fans was off Wiggins when he first signed with the Warriors, keep it 100. Last year ya'll was talking about ‘trade him, this and that' now everybody is talking all highly. Come on now.”

The Nuggets were slated to play the Brooklyn Nets Sunday night. The game ended up being postponed because of the amount of players in the league's COVID health and safety protocols.

He shared a great take about almost playing the Nets. Rivers said “You should've seen the Nets team we were playing tonight… we had to do a whole new scouting report. I didn't even know who I was guarding. I was guarding anonymous.”

The NBA has seen a massive increase in positive COVID tests and has been forced to shuffle games around unexpectedly.
