It's no secret that Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic is easily one of the best passing big men in the NBA. During the second quarter of Saturday night's game at Pepsi Center against the Dallas Mavericks, Jokic had a pass to Nuggets power forward Trey Lyles that was pretty jaw-dropping.

With the Nuggets leading the Mavericks 48-42 towards the end of the second quarter, Jokic received a pass from guard Gary Harris but immediately tipped the ball directly to Lyles. Cutting through the paint, Lyles then threw down a ferocious one-handed slam dunk to give the Nuggets an eight-point lead just before halftime.

A video of the play, which was uploaded to Twitter by the NBA's official account, can be viewed below in all of its glory:

The Nuggets went on to hold off the Mavs and win 91-89 as Dallas guard Wesley Matthews missed a 3-pointer as time expired. Jokic may have only had 11 points on the night, but the center put up a triple-double as he added a game-high 16 rebounds, 11 assists, and two blocked shots.

With the victory, the Nuggets improved to 26-23 on the season with a third straight win and a 19-6 record at the Pepsi Center. Harris, who was the game's leading scorer with 24 points, was 8-of-16 from the field and also had four assists and four boards.

Heading into Saturday night's contest, Jokic was putting up a pretty impressive stat line. In 41 games played this season, Jokic was averaging a double-double with 16.2 points, 10.3 rebounds, 5.1 assists, and 1.2 steals per game in roughly 31.1 minutes of action per contest.
