Salmi is a recent graduate of Cal State Fullerton after he previously attended Arizona State University. He has covered multiple teams in the past such as the Cleveland Cavaliers, Miami Heat, and Miami Dolphins. He is a Los Angeles native and a fan of the Lakers, Dodgers, LA Kings, and the Packers (his father grew up just south of Green Bay).
