OG keeps the OG Dota 2 TI champions three-peat dream alive, at least for now.

In a TI9 Grand Finals rematch, OG went head-to-head with Team Nigma. The number of championship Aegises between these two teams is many, with a two-time championship team taking on a one-time championship lineup. This is the second such matchup in this tournament, as OG also faced Team Nigma in the upper bracket semifinals, where OG scored 2-1 against Team Nigma.

This took place in a Best of 3 series at the lower bracket finals of the TI10 Western Europe Qualifiers. Team Nigma took OG on in Game 1 and handed them a humiliating defeat. However, OG was just so much better in drafting, showcasing their team's versatility and hero pool in games 2 and 3.

In Game 2, a Hoodwink-Windranger duo between Saksa and Topson decimated the late-game-centric draft of Team Nigma. Topson dominated the game early on, giving Suma1L a lot of space to farm an early Aghanim's Scepter on Gyrocopter. The game didn't give enough room for the farm-hungry lineup of Team Nigma, which featured an offlane Alchemist and a safelane Luna.

In Game 3, the defending TI champions rode the momentum, going for yet another high-tempo lineup. Team Nigma hedged their bets on a late-game Terrorblade, but their opponents finished the game in mere thirty minutes. OG simply didn't allow Team Nigma to set up for a comeback, making Team Nigma's captain KuroKy miss The International for the first time in his career.

However, OG just can't celebrate yet. After beating Team Nigma, they then have to face a dominant Tundra. So far, Tundra has been undefeated in the upper bracket. Their wins include a 2-0 against Brame, Team Liquid, and then OG at the upper bracket finals. Now, N0taiL and his team will have to overcome the last hurdle in their TI10 goals.
