Overtime Elite continues to expand its reach internationally. Following the signing of Filipino youngster Lebron Lopez last week, who marked their fifth foreign-born signing, they lock up another one in Romanian prospect Tudor Somacescu.

The 6-foot-2 guard had just turned 16 a month ago, making him the youngest player on the Overtime Elite roster. But don't let the youth fool you. Tudor Somacescu has put up some impressive showings in his early opportunities thus far. He currently holds the title of youngest player in FIBA history to average double-figure scoring in a European Championship, leading the way for his country's U16 team when he was just 14.

“Tudor has an advanced basketball IQ, a terrific feel for the game and the ability to share the ball with his teammates, getting everyone involved. They will love playing with him,” said Kevin Ollie, Overtime Elite Head Coach and Head of Player Development. “I look forward to sharing my knowledge as a former point guard to help him develop as a team leader on and off the court.”

Tudor Somacescu also spent last season alongside some more high-profile prospects in Bronny James and Amari Bailey during his stint with Sierra Canyon. Overtime Elite definitely nabbed a young, high-level talent.
