After failing to find the end zone in the first quarter, it was only a matter of time before Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers found one of his usual targets for a score.

It happened just a few seconds into the second quarter, when Rodgers found wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling on 1st and 10 at the Packers’ 22-yard line for a 78 yard touchdown.

As Rodgers threw a deep pass, Valdes-Scantling was seen outrunning Jaguars cornerback Sidney Jones and other defenders as he sprinted to the end zone to give Green Bay a 7-3 lead.  It was the 26-year old Valdes-Scantling’s third touchdown of the season and the seventh of his career.

Rodgers, meanwhile, continued to be in fine form this season with his 25th touchdown pass against just two interceptions in eight games.

The Packers (6-2) will look to dispatch the lowly Jaguars (1-7), which would give them their second straight win and seventh of the season against just two losses.
