The Green Bay Packers managed to carve out an ugly 24-16 win in their Week 15 encounter against a struggling opponent in the Carolina Panthers, with Packers star quarterback Aaron Rodgers having an uncharacteristically quiet performance.

After calling it “one of those disappointing wins,” Rodgers then noted how the Packers wouldn't “beat anyone in the playoffs” with a performance like this one, per Josh Alper of ProFootballTalk.

After running out to a 21-3 lead at halftime, the Packers failed to carry over their momentum and only tallied three points in the second half. Luckily for them, the Panthers weren't able to take advantage of the second-half struggles and couldn't pull off a comeback.

The two-time NFL MVP was limited in his production, finishing with a season-low 143 passing yards on 20-of-29 passes completed and a passing touchdown, though it was historic. Rodgers also scored a touchdown on the ground while rushing for 26 yards, but he was also sacked five times.

As Rodgers failed to get Green Bay's passing offense going, his receiving weapons likewise struggled to make contributions on the field. Wide receiver Allen Lazard led with 56 receiving yards on five receptions, while tight end Robert Tonyan caught the lone passing touchdown.

Packers running back Aaron Jones had himself a day at least, going for 145 yards rushing and one touchdown on 20 carries. Green Bay rushed for 195 yards and averaged 7.2 yards per rush.
