The Green Bay Packers routed the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday Night Football. It was never close, as Green Bay took an early lead and never looked back. Aaron Rodgers was a man among boys yet again and seems to have an update regarding his toe injury that's been bothering him this year.

According to Pro Football Talk, Aaron Rodgers claims he didn't have any trouble with his toe during the Vikings game on Sunday night. His toe injury has been bothering him throughout most of the Packers' second half of the season. So hearing him claim it's healed spells trouble for the rest of the league.

“This is a first game that my toe got through the game without any issues,” Aaron Rodgers, via Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com.

The fact the Packers clinched the number one seed is massive for this team. They now have the leisure to play Week 18 stress-free and make sure the starting lineup is as healthy as possible. With Rodgers' not dealing with pain in his toe anymore, Green Bay seems to be getting healthy at the right time. Rodgers continued to explain how big of a deal this is for his team.

“No pregame painkiller shot. I’m feeling good. I’m happy about it. There was definitely a time a few weeks ago when I started to project out and think if we can get the one-seed, it could be two-plus weeks of rest.”

We'll see how the postseason plays out, as numerous teams look like Super Bowl contenders. The Packers hold the top seed of the NFC firmly and look to prepare themselves for a grueling postseason run.
