Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers are rolling, and they could get a massive boost soon with the return of All-Pro offensive tackle David Bakhtiari.

Head coach Matt LaFleur confirmed that Bakhtiari will return to practice within the week, which will open his three-week window to return to the active roster, per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

David Bakhtiari suffered a season-ending ACL injury last season and has been in the Packers' Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list ever since then. It's unknown at what level he is when it comes to his conditioning, but fans will certainly be optimistic considering that he has been given the green light to practice.

The 30-year-old star OT is a key cog for the Packers, and his presence certainly adds more dynamic to an already potent offense led by Aaron Rodgers.

Rodgers and Bakthiari are close friends, and the legendary QB himself knows how important is the three-time Pro Bowler to the squad. When Bakhtiari went down with a chest injury in their Week 6 game in the 2020 season, Rodgers shared his concern about the injury and the possible absence of his best friend and blind-side protector.

It remains to be seen when Bakthiari will be able to return and suit up for the Packers, but it doesn't look like the wait will be long.
