In recent years, retired NFL stars have taken their talents to the booth, trying their hands at commentating. This includes Tony Romo and the brother duo of Payton and Eli Manning. Up next is Tom Brady. When he retires (again), the quarterback has a $375 million, 10-year contract as the lead NFL analyst for Fox Sports waiting for him. As for former Green Bay Packers quarterback Brett Favre, he's open to the opportunity if the price is right.

“I guess my country accent cuts me out,” he joked to TMZ Sports when asked if he wished the opportunity Brady has was offered to him when he retired back in 2010.

“No, I'm good,” Favre said. “I've made great money. I'm very thankful. If someone offered me a job to do Monday Night or Thursday Night Football and it would be a great deal, I would consider it. But it's not on my bucket list of things to do.”

Brett Favre is certainly open to the idea of becoming an NFL analyst, but he isn't on the edge of his seat to do so. The Super Bowl Champion and three-time NFL MVP is doing just fine in retirement, living off of the money he made during his 20 seasons in the league.

The Manning brothers and many other former quarterbacks have made great post-NFL careers in broadcasting. They bring endless information to game broadcasts that stem from their past experiences on the field. When paired with highly knowledgeable and educated professional broadcasters, former players bring invaluable insight to consumers.
