Longtime Green Bay Packers offensive tackle Bryan Bulaga will be playing outside the NFC North for the first time in his lengthy NFL career once the 2020 campaign gets underway. Now officially a member of the Los Angeles Chargers, Bulaga has been reunited with offensive line coach James Campen, who also spent quite a bit of time with the Packers organization.

As a result of his departure from Green Bay earlier this offseason, Bulaga has since opened up above his divorce with the Packers.

“I think from that point, we both kind of knew we were going to be going separate ways,” Bulaga recently told the “Wilde and Tausch” radio show. “There really wasn’t much communication. We knew pretty early that we’d be parting different ways. Obviously, they made a move and that’s kind of the way it went. That’s the way this thing goes. Business decisions get made. That’s life in the NFL.”

However, the veteran blocker also made a point to mention that he is certianly not holding a grudge against the heralded NFC North franchise.

“There are absolutely no hard feelings,” Bulaga added. “I understand the business part of it. That’s the way it goes.”

An unrestricted free agent this time around, Bulaga did say that he spoke with the Packers on Monday, which was the first day of the “legal tampering period.” However, he added that both sides quickly realized that a new deal wouldn't be getting done, paving the way for the veteran to make his way elsewhere.
