Davante Adams has missed the past two games for the Green Bay Packers but his return appears to be imminent. On Thursday, Adams says that his toe feels ‘a million times better‘ than it did when he first injured it.

Along with saying that his toe feels better, Adams also is uncertain of when he will be able to get back on the field. Regardless, this has to be positive news for Packers fans.

Back in Week 4, Adams sustained a toe injury against the Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday Night Football. The Pro-Bowl wide receiver was on his way to having a notable performance with 10 receptions for a career-high 180 yards.

After Adams left the game in the fourth quarter, Green Bay's offense hasn't been the same. While he's been out, Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Geronimo Allison were asked to see increased roles in the offense.

As a result, Aaron Rodgers and the passing attack have been contained in recent weeks. Even though, despite Adams being out, the Packers have won their last two games without him.

Ultimately, Green Bay's offense has shifted to being a run-oriented offense with Aaron Jones and Jamaal Williams. But getting Adams back soon would immediately improve an offense that may have found a new weapon.

In Week 6, the Packers wide receivers were struggling to the point where Rodgers vouched for Allen Lazard to get a chance to play. Then, on Lazard's first two drives of the season, Rodgers connected with him for four receptions for 65 yards and a touchdown.

Lazard, a second-year undrafted wide receiver, could just be a one-game wonder. At the same time, he could be a complimentary piece to Adams that could help Green Bay improve on offense.
