Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers set Twitter on fire again with a lengthy emotional post on his Instagram account that may or may not be a hint on a potential move away from Green Bay or from the NFL altogether. Packers veteran offensive lineman David Bakhtiari would later post the infamous Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas meme seemingly as a reaction to Rodgers' IG message.

Aaron Rodgers' future with the Packers and in the NFL has been a subject of endless rumors way before Green Bay got eliminated by the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Divisional Round.  Rodgers has on several occasions dropped hints about his desire to be somewhere else. He's also made some comments that can be taken as a clue to a looming retirement announcement this offseason.

The fact of the matter, at least for now, is that Rodgers is still with the Packers. He has a live contract until the end of the 2023 NFL season and there have been reports that Green Bay is more than willing to give Rodgers an extension. While the possibility of a trade is always there, the Packers might not eventually be able to pull the trigger on that, knowing that Rodgers is still an elite quarterback who is incredibly hard to find a worthy replacement.
