It was a tumultuous offseason for Aaron Rodgers and the front office of the Green Bay Packers. After all the chaos, all the reports and rumors, the reigning MVP is back with Green Bay for the 2021 season.

Head coach Matt LaFleur seemed caught in the middle of the mess this summer and is certainly thrilled to have Rodgers back. Via Peter King's “Football Morning in America” column, the head coach for the Packers noted how great Rodgers has been around the team since he came back.

“This is the best Aaron’s been around the team since I’ve been here,” coach Matt LaFleur told me. “I turn around at practice sometimes, and I see him with his arm around [rookie center] Josh Myers or maybe [right guard] Lucas Patrick, explaining everything they need to know.”

While many questions surrounded how Rodgers would react to being back with the Packers, he appears to be 100% committed to Green Bay for the 2021 season. With No. 12 back in the fold under enter, the Packers have as good a shot as anyone to hoist the Lombardi Trophy at the end of the season.

There will be a lot of emphasis on this season in Green Bay because it is unknown what could come after the season for Rodgers and his future, but Rodgers declined to discuss that element with King.

With Rodgers locked in, the rest of the NFC is on notice as the Packers try to finally get over the hump of the NFC Championship Game and into the Super Bowl.
