The Green Bay Packers are heading into the 2019 NFL Draft needing to address a few different positions. One of those positions could be tight end, as Jimmy Graham isn't getting any younger and did not have as productive of a 2018 season as many in Green Bay were hoping for.

NFL.com took a stab at Green Bay's first-round picks and predicted that the Packers will select Iowa star tight end Noah Fant with the No. 12 overall pick.

Fant would be an excellent selection for the Packers, who need to find more weapons for Aaron Rodgers. It was obvious last season that Green Bay needed another target or two. Unfortunately, they have not added any receivers and lost Randall Cobb to the Dallas Cowboys in free agency.

Last season as a junior at Iowa, Fant caught 39 passes for 519 yards and seven touchdowns. He is an extremely fast and athletic tight end and would give Rodgers another big target at 6-foot-5 and 240 pounds.

Green Bay will be keeping Graham around for another season. They are hoping that he can get back to producing a bit more than he did last year.

Even with Graham on the roster, the Packers are going to have some two tight end sets. Matt LaFleur would be ecstatic with having two tight ends as good as Graham and Fant. It certainly would make sense for the Packers to consider taking him.

All of that being said, it will be interesting to see what ends up happening with Green Bay in the NFL Draft. They have quite a few directions they could go and Fant could very well be one of them.
