The Green Bay Packers and Las Vegas Raiders stunned the NFL landscape when the team agreed on a trade that would send Davante Adams to the Raiders. Aaron Rodgers' favorite target ever has been sent out of town just as he decided to re-up with the Packers.

In exchange for arguably the best wide receiver in the league, the Packers received the Raiders' first two picks in the 2022 NFL draft, which are the 22nd and 53rd overall picks, per NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.

A trade like this would have made much more sense if Rodgers left Green Bay and the franchise was looking to rebuild. With the team looking to keep their winning ways going, the Packers now have to find another big-time wideout to pair with Rodgers. Having two more draft picks in the first two rounds should be very helpful.

Now, the Packers have two extra top-60 picks to work with. They could use one of the first-rounders they have to add another stellar receiver like Treylon Burks, Drake London or Chris Olave. If they would rather find a player that is more proven, they could use those picks in another trade. No one they get back might be as good as Adams but they have intriguing options at their disposal.

Meanwhile, Adams gets his wish as he leaves Green Bay to join forces with Derek Carr, his collegiate quarterback and close friend, on a Raiders team that just signed Chandler Jones and is looking to make more big moves.
