Green Bay doesn’t seem like a completely unified camp at the moment. Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is reportedly unhappy about the lack of influence he has on the team regarding some big offseason moves.

However, it might please Packers fans to hear that opposing teams are pretty frightened of Rodgers and his potential to return to MVP-caliber form in 2018. And a big reason for that is apparently new tight end Jimmy Graham.

Per Mike Freeman of Bleacher Report:

As one of the team sources put it, if you put a player with Rodgers' accuracy together with a player of Graham's caliber, you essentially create an NFC version of Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski.

“The damage Aaron Rodgers could do with Jimmy Graham is scary,” the source said. “It's potentially historic.”

Graham admitted that he turned down more money to go to the Packers, a team which he feels can win it all. Obviously, Rodgers has a lot to do with the Packers’ chances of success. When he’s healthy, they’re basically a lock for the playoffs. But when he’s not, as he was last year after breaking his collarbone, things could a bit dicey.

If he’s at his best, Graham can also be a big piece to the puzzle that the Packers offense has been missing in recent years. He gives Rodgers another dynamic receiving target, particularly in the red zone. While he didn’t have a vintage year in his last season in Seattle, Graham still caught 10 touchdown passes.

A big part of Rodgers’ frustration this offseason has been due to the departure of one of his top targets in Jordy Nelson. But perhaps when he gets the chance to connect with Graham, he will be ready to put those bad feelings aside and instead focus on dominating the rest of the league.
