There is now a possibility that Carolina Panthers wide receiver D.J. Moore may feature in the upcoming Week 15 matchup against the Buffalo Bills.

Moore came away from the Panthers’ recent home loss to the Atlanta Falcons with a hamstring injury. Panthers head coach Matt Rhule opted to rule him out over the late stages of the game due to the injury. Still, Rhule provided some early optimism regarding Moore’s hamstring issue, as he noted following the contest that the wide receiver is being considered as day-to-day.

Moore featured in Carolina’s scheduled practices on both Wednesday and Thursday, although he was a limited participant in each session due to his hamstring issue.

During a press conference on Thursday, the fourth-year wideout shed some light on his injury status.

“It's good,” Moore said. “Still working on it. Was out there at practice. Just taking it one day at a time.”

Overall, the Panthers have yet to provide for a final declaration on whether Moore will suit up for the clash with the Bills. Still, Rhule did note on Wednesday that the wideout has a “chance” to play in the game.

Moore is on the doorstep of a third straight 1,000-plus receiving yards campaign, as he is just 62 such yards from reaching this feat. He has also notched 72 receptions and four receiving touchdowns over 13 games played on the season.

The Panthers head into Week 15 with a 5-8 record, as they currently hold the No. 12 seed in the NFC playoff picture.
