New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick is being questioned for leaving Tom Brady in during the fourth quarter on Sunday. No worries. He has plenty of answers.

Tom Brady took a bunch of hits against the Miami Dolphins. However, even though the Patriots would eventually take a good lead late in the game, it never really got out of hand.

And yet, in the postgame presser, reporters felt it vital to ask Bill Belichick about if he considered taking Touchdown Tom out of the game.

“No. I mean it’s easy for you to sit there and say the game is out of hand,” Belichick said. “I mean, if you watch games in the National Football League, a lot can change in a hurry. The only time I think the game is in hand is when they’re not going to have enough possessions to get the number of points that they need. Sorry, we just see that one totally differently.”

After the game, Brady admitted he took some brutal shots against a tough Miami defense, but he also acknowledged that it comes with the territory.

The second-guessing here would be multiplied if Brady actually got hurt. He didn't, so this story has the lifespan of a wasp after it stings you in October.

Note: I don't really know how long of a lifespan a wasp without its stinger in October has. Let's hope it is short. The above point is that this story has no sting.

Anyway, the Patriots are good. Bill Belichick is a Hall of Fame coach. Tom Brady is also great.
