New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is not new to Super Bowl appearances. He has five NFL championship rings, and is on the cusp of winning another one this coming Sunday. But if someone is questioning his preparation and readiness for the showdown with the Philadelphia Eagles, Patriots wide receiver Brandin Cooks wants that person to know that the Patriots quarterback’s focus is “laser sharp.”

Speaking on SiriusXM NFL Radio, the 24-year-old wideout expresses his extreme confidence on Brady’s form heading into the Super Bowl.

Tom Brady is now 40, but the future Hall of Famer signal-caller has rarely shown his age this season. Brady led the league in the regular season in passing yards with 4,577 and finished third in passing touchdowns with 32, while also getting picked off just eight times. Brady continued to flash his mighty form this postseason in which he has already 627 passing yards, five touchdowns, and zero interceptions so far.

Brady’s health was a concern ahead of the Pats’ AFC Championship Game match against the Jacksonville Jaguars, but an injured right hand barely mattered for him in leading his team to a 24-20 victory. In that game, Brady passed for 290 yards (26-of-38) and two touchdowns without issuing an interception.

As for Brandin Cooks, he has a chance to win his first Super Bowl title in his career. Selected 20th overall by the New Orleans Saints back in the 2014 NFL Draft, the former Oregon State Beaver wide receiver has been a potent weapon downfield for Brady since being traded to New England from the Saints last year. Cooks is under contract with the Patriots until the end of this season, so his future with the team is uncertain, but a win this coming Sunday is all that matters now for him.
